Christmas competition winner

Who’s beating the January Blues? We reveal the winner of our Christmas competition!

Here at icount, we understand just how tricky the first month of a new year can be. Christmas has come and gone, along with the many parties that surround it, all of which can create a rather large dent in our finances.

It’s because of this dreary time of year, that we chose to hold a Christmas competition, where entrants could be in with the chance of winning £250 on an icount prepaid Mastercard! All that was left to do, was guess the total cost of the presents underneath our tree and wait patiently until the new year, to find out who the lucky winner was!

The wait is over, as we reveal the total cost of the gifts and the winner of the competition!

The competition ran throughout December and we were pleasantly surprised by the 848 entries made, both by current icount customers and potential customers of the future. A huge thank you from all of us here at icount to those that took part.

Your estimations varied quite greatly, however we can now reveal that the total cost for the presents under our tree was £377.88! Many came close, however there was only one clear winner, whose guess was just 78p off from the actual cost of the gifts!

A huge congratulations to Susan McIntosh, who estimated the total cost of the gifts to be £377.10!

We hope that our gift helps to make the new year that little bit easier on your finances and sees you through January.

Whilst we’re unable to offer the same gift to everyone that took part in the competition, we hope that our expert advice and guidance can help you to better manage your finances over the coming year. Head over to our blog, where you’ll find plenty of tips and tricks for a healthier relationship with finances.
If you’re planning on improving your finances throughout 2018, our current account with prepaid Mastercard® is a fantastic tool for setting budgets, building your credit score and feeling more comfortable with your future finances.
